About Phil Corin
Coach | Creative Soul | Guide Through Life’s Transitions

My story begins in a basement filled with steel drums and guitar riffs—my father’s musical laboratory. As a West Indian immigrant musician, he filled our home with rhythm and melody, sparking in me a deep love for creativity and expression. I dreamed of writing songs for a living, but life had other plans.

I found myself working behind the scenes in the music industry—record labels, artist management, you name it. While I cherished being close to the art I loved, over time, the business side overshadowed the joy of creation. Something in me craved a new challenge—a different kind of problem to solve. So, I took a leap: I taught myself to code, fueled by savings and the generosity of friends in tech who guided me. For ten years, I thrived as a software developer, honing my analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. But corporate life left my soul restless. I was burned out and yearning for something more.

During a hiatus, I followed a thread of passion—fashion and self-expression—which led me to host a podcast. What started as a creative outlet became a revelation: I discovered my natural ability to connect deeply with people, to hold space for their stories, and to listen not just with my ears, but with my whole being. Without expecting it, I found myself on a new path—one that combined my lifetime of creative exploration, analytical training, and this newfound gift for connection.

Today, as a coach, I bring all of these experiences together. I help people navigate their own transitions—whether they’re feeling stuck, searching for purpose, or standing at the edge of a bold new beginning. My approach is grounded in deep listening, intuitive curiosity, and the belief that every challenge holds an invitation to grow.

The common thread? Transformation.
From music to tech, from fashion to podcasting—every pivot in my life has taught me that reinvention isn’t about abandoning who you were. It’s about uncovering who you’ve always been beneath the roles and expectations.

If you’re in a season of change (or feel one coming), let’s talk. Your next chapter doesn’t have to be written alone.
